1st Clover of 2008
I found the first odd leaf clover of the year. I was working in the garden, checking to see if my garlic was growing and pulling weeds. It is no bigger than the tip of my pointer finger and has five leaves! I also found one growing naturally with only two leaves. Odd. Maybe my fertilizer is creating oddities....
This being my first clover find of the year, I almost forgot to post my wish. I wished for good health for all of us. Personally, that my back would stop aching from all the yardwork.

clovers and dog shit
67 degrees today. normally lots of snow and in the 20's. picked up dog shit today from back yard. too busy making sure i didn't step in crap to look for clovers. nice to see a little bit of greenery rather than snow. even had the windows open...
check out my other blog while we are on hiatus until spring four leaf clover searching begins again.

Not going to be finding any clovers this time of year with all the mud, snow and basically shitting weather. I am instead looking for the 4 leaf clover coin from Palau. Hint, hint Santa!

Palau Clover Coin

How cool is this! A GOOD LUCK COIN WITH A REAL 4-LEAF CLOVER! A real lucky four-leafed clover is embedded in the 1 ounce .999 fine silver Proof 5 Dollar coin from Palau. The inscription reads, "Better an ounce of luck than a pound of gold". The other side features the Palau arms. The undated 38.6 mm coin has a mintage of just 5000 pieces. Because the clovers are real, no two coins are exactly alike. It is sold out already but you may be able to get one at http://www.joelscoins.com/oops.htm . I need to have one of these. If you know of another place to get one, please let me know!

Lucky Biatch
I am lucky in almost everything. Maybe I make my own luck, but I get lucky finding four leaf clovers and five leaf clovers pretty often. I started a memory book where I paste the clovers my daughter's and I find. My husband has never found one.
With every clover comes story and a wish. I will post them here.
